"In my life I will praise the Lord; I will make music to my God while I live". (Psalm 146:2) St. Margaret Mary Parish relies on volunteers, who, through their musical talent, help bring about a prayerful celebration of the liturgies. The opportunities to be involved in music ministry are many and varied. Instrumentalists, particularly brass, woodwind and string players, are often needed. Singers may consider being part of the children's choir (3rd-8th grade), adult choir, small groups (8-12 members), quartets, trios, duets, or a solo cantor. If you are musically gifted in some way, please consider being part of the music ministry at your parish. Contact: This email address is being protected from spambots. KIDS Choir 2026-2027
KIDS stands for Kids Immersed in Diving Singing! All parish children in grades 3-8 are invited to join the KIDS Choir! The choir will be scheduled to sing once (sometimes twice) a month throughout the academic year, at a Christmas Mass, Easter Sunday, and special gatherings.
Active members of the KIDS Choir will also be invited to sing for a Christmas Mass. The date and time of the rehearsal and Mass will be determined at a later date. Please understand that in order to sing for that Mass, your child will have to have a reasonable amount of experience singing with the group -- along the lines of two or three Masses prior to Christmas. Thank you for your commitment to our music ministry!
